"I have medium length fine very straight hair and I highlight and color it. Over the years, I have tried at least 5 other curling iron brands and there was a problem of some kind each time. Not with this Babyliss curling iron, It does what it is supposed to do and it isn't "finicky" and "fussy". You can use it over and over and it works every time. The dial for setting the temperature can be pushed in after you set the temp so you don't accidently change your temperature mid cycle.
